The Arid Dry 5000 Large Loss Electric Desiccant

Water loss can happen to anyone at any time.  From issues in your home or even your business, SERVPRO of Spencer & Iowa Great Lakes has you covered.  Investing in the right equipment is key to making your water damage look "Like it never even happened" which is why we have invested in the next level of drying equipment.

With a new way of drying and reducing humidity for the perfect climate control in water disasters, SERVPRO® of Spencer and Iowa Great Lakes offers the Arid Dry 5000 Large Loss Electric Desiccant. Meeting the demands of larger residential and commercial water restoration jobs with a large-capacity mobile dehumidifier from ARID-Dry™, SERVPRO® of Spencer and Iowa Great Lakes professionals can work more efficiently and with faster time-response. One of the only restoration companies in Northwest Iowa to offer service with this type of equipment.

How it works: The most moisture laden air in “process“ air stream is drawn through desiccant rotor with moisture collecting on Silica gel material embedded in rotor. Dry processed air is re-leased into required area. Rotor brings soaked desiccant into “reactivation” air stream where it is heated. As desiccant dries, it releases its moisture into reactivation air stream as water vapor which is ducted into the outside atmosphere.

Bottom line: It is perhaps the most effective method available of controlling humidity and/or removing moisture from structural materials, hardwood flooring, and providing structural preparation prior to applying coatings.

When disaster strikes call the team with the right equipment at SERVPRO of Spencer & Iowa Great Lakes.
